Sited in the Regionall, natural Park of the Apuan Alps at an altitude of 800 m. a.s.l., the farmhouse l’Agrifoglio is an ancient building of the beginning of the 20th century, built in local stone and chestnut wood.
It is perched quietly midst the chestnut woods the Apuan Alps, just few km from the renowned sandy beaches of Forte Dei Marmi, Marina di Pietrasanta and Viareggio, and from the cities of art ofPietrasanta, Lucca and Pisa.
It is the perfect location for those who like a unique, exclusive holiday in close contact to nature, far away from the noisy and stressing modern life. In fact the farm is accessible only on foot after a walk of approx
15 minutes from the parking area.
Our guests can discover here antique and authentic flavours, the typical specialities of the mountain Versilia area, prepared today exactly as in the old times, using mostly the ingredients of our own production: pecorino cheese, goat cheese and ricotta cheese, extra virgin olive oil, chestnut flour, seasonal vegetables, salami e meat (lamb, goat, rabbit, beef, pork and chicken). Some other ingredients are bought by external producers.
Our cheeses are made every morning from our own raw dairy.
Our farm is the perfect destination to trekking excursions to virgin, natural landscapes with breathtaking views, rare flowers, plants and animals.
